Storyline: Leah spots an ice-cream cart and a series of expressions of surprise and excitement pass on her face. She starts jumping up and down and calling her dad to join in on her quest to get the Icecream.
Leah runs to the ice-cream cart and has a little fun choosing her favourite ice-cream. The ice-cream man hands her the cone,
Leah grabs the ice cream and with excitement and anticipation licks the ice-cream. the scoop rolls out the other side and drops to the ground.
Shot- scoop on the ground. Shot of Leah’s face again – excited expression turns sad.
Segregating this sequence of action into parts to keep track of the animation schedule.
Part I: Leah spots an ice-cream cart and a series of expressions of surprise and excitement pass on her face.
Part II: She starts jumping up and down and calling her dad to join in on her quest to get the Ice-cream.
Part III: Leah runs to the ice-cream cart
Part IV: She has a little fun choosing her favourite ice-cream.
Part V: Paul (Ice-cream vendor) hands Leah the Ice cream.
Part VI: Leah licks the ice cream in excitement and the scoop falls down.
Part VII: Leah’s expression changes from excitement to heart-breaking sadness.
I intend to use a park environment with an ice cream cart at the end of the path as the environment for this project, I have started the animation using a rig of a girl with two ponies as Leah.
The rig I am using for this project is of Crumbelina DiCarmello, originally a character from the game Sugar Rush in the movie – Wreck-it Ralph.
